Always be kind and gracious to your Mom. She is on your side, after all. ~~~ Call your Grandma often; she won’t be here forever. Finish college before you marry. ~~~ Marriage does not always last forever. ~~~ Life is less stressful if you can be honest about what you’re doing. ~~~ Kids bring joy. You’ll want more than one. ~~~ A career is not all it is cracked up to be, but a steady paycheck is nice. ~~~ The less crap you have, the better. ~~~ Don’t lend money to someone you barely know. ~~~ Start saving for your kid’s college education as soon as they are born. ~~~ Start saving for retirement as soon as you get your first full time job. ~~~ Be a good friend to those you want to have as a good friend. ~~~ Respect and appreciate your husband as much as you love him. ~~~ The road of life has curves you can’t see. ~~~ Have faith that everything will be okay. ~~~ Take care of yourself. ~~~ You cannot control the world. ~~~ You are in charge of your own happiness, so don’t sit on your butt and wait for it.
